Mag-Tek has introduced a family of software drivers for Windows® 95/98/NT operating system environments. These new device drivers, including full support for OPOS, allow Mag-Tek's magnetic stripe card readers, encoders, PINpads and the MICR check readers to be easily integrated into end-user applications.

The new device drivers are used to reduce overall software development time and to communicate with any Mag-Tek device with the same set of application level commands. Application developers can create software for Mag-Tek devices without the technical knowledge of the hardware. The drivers support both RS-232 serial and keyboard wedge interfaces.
