The CPT3000 was developed in collaboration with Visa who use the CPT2000 and
now the CPT3000 for certification of EMV cards. CPT3000 enables Member Banks
and suppliers of all the payment system operators (Visa, MasterCard, JCB and
American Express) to quickly, easily and accurately verify that the chip,
magnetic stripe and embossed data personalised on any payment smart card
match each other and conform with the complex and strict requirements laid
down by the payment system operators.
The CPT3000 EMV PVT includes a powerful diagnostic capability in problem
solving and data analysis situations. If required, tests for additional
applications may be developed for the CPT3000 using the CAT3000v2.
